Life in Belfast
Today is the last day of 2011. I have read all my blogs and thought of what i have done in this whole year. The blog reminded me of something i have forgot. 2011 is a special year for me as many things happened. It is actually a turning point to me. Finally I choose to study here.
I have been in Belfast for more than three months. Fortunately, I passed the English course as required. After two months' English course, I learned a lot. I knew how to write an research based on assay and I made a lot of new friends. The way they teach here is quite different from China. They focus on intercommunication. We just had two classes everyday. It meaned it just took us 4 hours a day in class. Not that much homework. Diverse teaching way in class.
Christmas just past. I had a good time. People here are friendly. They are more enjoy themselves. The stores closed early. Many people go to bars at night. It gets dark early, sometimes even 3pm. I was invited to their house and experienced a traditional Christmas. Their houses were decorated with different beautiful lights and so on. We had Christmas cracker, Trukey, ham etc.
After Christmas, here comes the boxing day. Many sales on clothes, shoes, makeup etc. Lots of people rush to go shopping. They are really crazy. I also picked up some.
Sometime i felt lonely. Althought there are also many Chinese here, they have their own life. In China, it is easy to get someone and do something together. However it seems a hard thing here. Thus it is time to be more independent. Don't be afraid of doing something alone. Believe yourself that you can do it well by yourself. Be strong. Don't count on others.
Though I took part in many activities, i didn't try my best to communicate. Since i am not a talktive person, i always be quiet. Next year, I should do my best to improve my speaking English. Grab every possible opportunity. Don't be shy. Just talk with them. Don't be afraid. Chat with them.
I am trying to find a part time job recently. Hope it will be good result. I think i didn't make full use of my time in the past three months. I will manage my time between study and work. I like richful life. I like the feeling of being busy. Also I want to make money in order to reduce my parents't burden. Meanwhile i can experience a different life.
In a word, in 2012 i will try to do the following things:
Make full use of my time.
Chat with local people as possible as I can.
Find part time job.
Pay attention to job information.
Work hard on my course.

I can't help asking you what profession are you major in out there? how long do you suppose to be there? the fee mush be very expensive being there to study~~good for you, and also happy for you, best wishes to you, my friend..
