There is a tree outside of our dorm window, it is said that is a cherry tree. I don't think so, I have never seen that kind of cherry tree like that before, it just looks so thin, tall and weak, just like a thin and tall young boy. it looks can not endure any severe test. I more likely to believe it's a ginkgo tree smiling in the spring wind.

     I remember those days which the begining of this semester, there were so many tiny white flowers on the cherry tree, pretty lively. when the wind blowed over it gently, those petals started to dance following the wind's step, like snowflakes, sakura of Japan,  they were so free to find their way in breeze in sunshine. how beautiful, romantic, who dare say it isn't a good view. romantic view in that season of being full of hope.

     Now, all have changed, there is only withered,depressed,  its vitality has lost. how terrible it is. I said its vitality is lost is not mean that cuase the flower has gone so that it looks withered. I mean some fresser broke branches to pick cherry to eat cause its countless rich fruits, then they left these branches here overlying on the grass under the tree. now it's only a getting hurt tree  a  miserably shape tree. actually, pick the fruits is not whose fault, after all one of the value of the cherry tree is providing fruits to everyone to eat. if there are a lots of fruits, but no one to visit it is so sad. however, picking is not guilty, picking with a proper right way to be good, breaking the branches is not good behavior, we are all college students, just do what a student like do is good. you all picked fruits and broke the branches, that kind of behavior is not only hurt the tree but also destroy the nice view of ours. maybe you all do not care about that, maybe everything is indifferent to you, right?

     I can remember the first when I saw some one picking cherry here, I was so curious what they are picking to eat. A roommate told me thta's cherry, I was really surprised, in my memory, the cherry tree  should not be like that. cause when I was a kid, my family had planted some cherry trees round our house, so to speak I was very familiar with it. thereupon, I walked to the side of window have a close-up view of it, I could not tell it's a cherry tree whatever though its trunk, branches, leaves or fruits. especially, its fruits is pretty tiny, I almost could not see its outside shape clearly, I just could feel its color is ripe. there was no any evidence to show that was a cherry. it just looked quite weird.

     Frist time, some girls passed by here saw it picked some to have a taste then gone away, it seemed that it isn't very delicious through their expression. after that, some girls being here with two or three boys accompanying. the boys catched those branches gently, the girls raised up their dress to be a basket shape to stow cherry. face covered with childlike innocent smile. they picked and ate, had fun under the tree, they all really enjoyed doing that, that picture looked so harmoniously, it made me recalling my childhood. carefree time is really precious.

     More and more people been here to pick cherry, I bet they were attracted by its fame. they wantoned to pick cherry, wasted it, dropped it on the grass, some one of them even climbed up the tree to pick then they broke some branches to show their courage. they always made some annoying noise to catch your attention to notice them. after a while, they took many cherry away.they like devils screwed up all things in random in paradise, how could they did that so careless. I speechless.

     One morning, I was sleeping sweetly, all of a sudden, a string of big noise and some loudly voice woke me up. it made me so angry, I did not want to be waked. my eyes still been closed, I heard some voice was so familiar, when I listened carefully, it turned out to be those aunts and uncles of our school tenement. i listened carefully the voice again, they were talking about how to pick those cherry is more convenient. I just heard the big noise over and over again, I knew that noise was the stick beating the branch made a string of noise. I could not heard the sound of cherry fall to the grass, they were too tiny to heard its sound, I just could hear some leaves smash together when they were falling. maybe the cherry was weeping, no one noticed it, I can imagine that.

     Gone through these destructive picking, the tree is thoroughly out of shape, there is not much left, some time one or two person stay here to pick one or two, then leave quickly. it lost the vitality what it was, the pure romantic has disappear for a long time, what has it left? the pedestrian won't stop for it anymore, the watching scenery people won't give it an admiring look, it's so sad. let's pray for it would have a countless rich fruits next year, or we will lost a lot of fun, right?

     Finally, there is quiet again. as still as nothing happened before.
