After supper, I went to my grandpa’s house to have a look. Maybe I can do something for them. To my surprise, the first sight to his house is that there are two purple scars on grandpa’s arm.

“what’s wrong with you, grandpa?” I said. “he fell down this afternoon in the yard, I was not at home at that time.” Grandma didn’t have the heart to tell me. “Oh, my God, are you ok now?” …I don’t visit them quite often for there is a certain distance between our house. My grandpa has been ill for half a year. Now he looks extremely skinny and gaunt through these oppressive hours. Every time when I shake his hands, I can sense that he is getting old.

I open the door of their bedroom. Oh, it’s stuffy and has unpleasant smell. There is still a thick quilt on the bed. I walked out of the room instantly and sadly said to grandma: “it must be very hot when you sleep at night, I will go back home to fetch my small electricity fan to you.”

On my way home, I was thinking how could they stand the heat in that room. Grandpa is ill, so that a good living environment is a must for him. my uncles and aunts don’t know that? How come？are they busy? That is not the case, I suppose. Usually they give money to grandpa and grandma and ask them to have dinner together in some big days. Perhaps a lot of things occupy them and cannot take some time out of it to see grandpa. As a matter of fact, they are filial sons. But if they can give grandpa and grandma more concern about their life, things will be better.

I put the electricity fan on the table and adjust the on-off and find a plug for them. Therefore, they can use it conveniently and without trouble.

I need to visit them frequently, and take grandpa to have a walk. Along the way, we can share our stories and interesting things.
