happy new year!
It blows more and more firerce in Beijing. You have a real sense of how cold the winter could be.
I wish to see Beijing covered in snow before I go home. But I may be disappointed because the weather broadcast said it probably won't snow until Jan. 26th. Today is the last day of 2010. My homesickness gets intense on this day.
Usually, I will make lots of new year's resolutions either on the last day or the 1st day of the new year. But for lots of plans, I won't carry it on and the passion lose as days go by and eventually the traces of any plan are obliterated by time.
We make resolutions on the 1st day of a new year, and almost every year, we keep this habit so as to fulfill our wish of taking a new image for the new year. But few try to check at the end of the year against the plans of the previous year. How many of them are finally realised and how much impratical some of them seem to be!
I called my mom this morning and it is going to snow the day after tommorrow. Frezing cold!
