Reflection on English learning

These days I have a craving for learning English and speaking English. I scanned on the internet and found some partners who also want to improve English, especially improving oral English. How to say, I was happy and also a little disappointed. I am happy that I get acquaintance with a Brazilian. From chatting with him, I got some authentic knowledge of Brazil. And at the same time, I had a little knowledge of Brazil before I chatted with him. But at the moment I started communicating with him, I was forced to search some basic knowledge of Brazil to maintain our conversation. It seems tiresome, but on the other hand, it can help me know more knowledge to enlarge my knowledge scope. Actually these things are some common sense. So I felt lucky that I found a way to know some things that I did not like it before.
What makes I disappointed is the true attitude to learning English. I publicized my QQ number in an English chatting room. Many people added me as English learning partners. But after a short communication, most of them chose to speak Chinese. It is really disappointing. I have no right to comment on other’s behavior. Here I only want to say practice makes perfect. Although it is hard to communicate with others in English, you will succeed if you insist in practicing and using it every day. As for this phenomenon, I only want to call for all English learners and English lovers keep perseverance. Just as the saying goes: Carve but give up half way, even a decayed piece of wood will not break; carve without stop. Even metal and stone can be engraved.
At last I want to share a saying: youth comes and goes in a moment of doze. All my friends and my partners pick up your courage and perseverance to go for your dream. I believe you can succeed!
