Early in the morning, January 20, 2011 AD, in Lily Residential area, all that you could see was white, the ground was almost entirely covered with a thick quilt of snow! Snowflakes were dancing around quietly in the air, so densely that I had to narrow my eyes to find my way. I turned by chance, to where I had come from, and found only four lines of footprints solitarily behind us. It was hard for Marvin, my dog, to walk through such deep snow, but he bravely struggled forward. Being curious about this rare scene, he appeared a little excited, jumping, running or sometimes scrambling.

The air was so fresh, so clear and so nicely chilly！Everything was soooo quiet, so wonderfully tranquil, so pleasantly peaceful. “Did I happen to walk into the legendary wonderland or Xanadu, or Shangri- La?” I couldn’t help wondering.  All of sudden, the once noisy kind of dirty hypocritical complicated world turned into a pure simple beautiful one. What a magical world we are in! How I wish I could keep all of this for ever! We can, at least in our heart. May the year of 2011 bring us more luck and surprises! May the world be a better place for us humans to live in!
