Looking at this title, you may be puzzled. How is it possible for a woman never to grow up? Or is it a mistake? It should be a girl who is yet to grow. Well, I have to tell the story step by step. First thing first: she is a married woman, not a girl. I give her this label for two reasons: First, she once openly announced that she refused to grow up. Of course, she was making a joke in a seriously manner. Second, we sometimes refer to her as a woman who never grows up. She behaves like a spoiled teenager girl in some way.

I don’t want to give you guys the wrong idea that I dislike her. On the contrary, I admire her very much, to tell the truth. First of all, she is very generous with money. Spending several thousand on a shopping tour is not unusual at all. And she never bargains, which is rare as a woman. She doesn’t have to give money to her husband, but she spends her own money. She would give you the impression that she is a quiet and gentlewoman at the first encounter. However, actually she belongs to the talkative type. You can hear some astonishing words out of her mouth on a daily basis. Speaking of men as husbands, she would say loudly with clenched teeth, “All the male chauvinists go to hell!” When talking about government officials, she would claim that they would all die a painful death. Honestly, she is a little cynical, but at least she is loyal to her heart. How many of us can say and do whatever we truly like to? And I believe she has no mental problems, for all the anger or dissatisfaction has all been released through her special way of living.

More than once she advised her friends that husbands should never be treated too nicely because men are not meant to be spoiled by nature. I don’t know how other male friends feel, but for me she is more of a feminist. She can be hostile towards men except very few lucky guys. I once wondered if she was somehow abused or ill-treated by a man at a young age. However, I know it is a question that should never be asked. I heard people say she actually is very nice to her husband, though she has the final say in the family. And it was proved when we travelled together. She seldom spoke except with her husband on the way. And she looked very ladylike, which really amazed me. In one of the days that followed, I said to her, “You’re so sweet a wife! You finally let me see the other side of your life.” To my surprise, she replied, “Of course, I’m entitled to enjoy being a woman.”
