Help! Who Knows How to Cook a Blackfish?

Yesterday a relative of mine came and gave us a blackfish as a gift. Blackfish is widely acknowledged as nutritious food. However, neither my wife and i don't know how to cook it. We once bought one not long ago and cooked it very badly, just too fishy to eat. So actually his kind act put us in trouble. It would be wasteful and a great pity to throw it away. I'm wondering if anyone here could help me. I would appreciate any advice you give me. So that we could cook it decently well. Thanks!

- Blackfish?? I have never heard about it or maybe just different name we use to described the same kind of fish. would you mind post a picture of it.
