I have always been feeling shamed to tell someone else that I have never been to Beijing before today, especially when a foreigner asks me. actually it has been a long time that I started to plan a travel to BJ, but I never made it. But today this dream finally came true, however the start was not that satisfying.

It took 2 hours' flying in the air from home to BJ, but I waited one hour prior to boarding and more than half a hour for the plane to slide to the gate after landing. I believe anyone who ever came to BJ must have experienced this 'cause the BJ airport is so large, but no doubt because it is in our capital.

I had an appointment at 1 o'clock PM. I left home at 5 at the morning and finally landed in BJ ariport at 11:30 AM. I nearly couldn't catch up the appointment. fortunately I caught a good texi driver and made it without checking the hotel firstly.

after working 6 hours in the office, I rushed to the hotel for check-in. It was so disappointing when I entered the room inside which the condition is so worse. it si narrow, dark, with paint falling from the wall, chilled water falling from the air-con.. unbelievable. but the good news is that the boss agreed to change the hotel day after tomorrow.

tonight is going to be my first night in BJ, which reminds me the song of 'One Night in BJ'. different person has different experiences, which tells me that not all things are under your control.
