On this Friday, only a few days before the new year and Christmas, almost all Americans got to know this young man: Adam Lanza.
Who is this Adam?
He was the killer who murdered 28 persons in only 5 minutes with 2 handguns and one rifle, including 20 kids aging 5 to 10, as well as his parents. The criminal scene is located in an elementary school in Newtown, where Sandy just hit a month ago.
I got this breaking information early this morning when I got up and about to wash after turning on TV. It was shown a nurse was being interviewed busting into tears when speaking of the horrific story. I was so moved by the shocking news and her words, tears full of eyes. How can this guy be so brutal shooting yong kids? does he have mental problems? or does he have different terrific belief? For sure the local police are under investigating and all puzzles are still underground.
Definitely Adam is the one we should blame and he is the killer, but gun-free in America is obviously the accomplice that made this murdering becoming a massacre. According to the police, all 3 guns are legal, registered under his mother, who was a teacher right at that school. Applying for guns, owners have to receive specific training and take responsibilities for keeping guns in good safe. From this story, we know that guns are not in good management yet, they are easy to be obtained by those not being trained and who are deadly dangerous.
The tragedy didn't happen for once. As I know, 3 this kind of murdering with guns happened in America only in 2012. I think the goveronment should take the accountability for this.
20 yong kids, one of whom would be a famous singer, one of whom would be a celebrated writer, or one of whom would be be the president of USA. God Knows, but at least those parents who lost their kids meanwhile lost their hopes, hopes of pretty life with kids growing up.
I am not a big fan of America Dream fortunately, but I ever do like some so-called good aspects in American society, like freedom, rights of residence, etc. But knowing what, yesterday I watched a movie of 'Son of no one', though I didn't completely watch over, the story it told was about how the Queen zone in NY was developed in 1980s. Most of the residents there didn't want to move out, but they had to becauce if they didn't, they would be arrested into prison by the enforcement, just like some occurrences in where you are familiar with. I was told by this movie, deeply, that enforcement existed everywhere in the globe.
The 20 young kids died, almost suddenly, without seeing their parents at the end of life. What have gone with them is the hope of beautiful and happy lives they should deserve, but what have brought to us is the concerns of gun management and security management of yong children. Hope these kids have gone to heaven, happy there.
My condolence to those parents who lost their children.
