And "What's up"or 'z up" were once used by low class people, now youngsters use it to greet each other, meaning hello. But senior citizens don't know much about these trends.

- "Yosh"was once spoken in an American cartoon, one about extraterrestrial beings hiding on the earth, trying to live a life as that of people on earth."Yosh"was what these extraterrestrial beings used most, meaning"Alright."
Actually, nowadays a lot of young Americans greet each other by remarking the "Yo, yo, man"
Yo is an interjection sometimes, whose meaning can be vague, just like the Japanese word"Ma".
And actually, "Yosh"is Japanese, which means"Alright",or when one has decided to pluck up his courage, he will say"Yosh"
American English has accepted or borrowed a lot of Japanese words, such as the cartoon"Ninjia Turtles(忍者神龟）in which "Ninjia, Sensei" are Japanese words.
But I used the word Yosh here, cos once there was the show produced by Hongkong"Journey to the West"in which 张卫健played Monkey King, who often said,"唷，打妖精之嘛，使乜惊呀？（白话说的，普通话是 何足惧哉的意思）
