Do you believe in destiny? My father says my mother's fate is like pepper's destiny. When she's old , she turns red. I have to say it's a reasonable analogy. And in fact my father's destiny is the same as my mom's. Now they are turning red. They have to battle the strong winds and heavy rains when they are green. If they couldn't win , they would be green forever. They knew as long as they hold on , they wouldn't be knocked down no matter what weather it was. You know green peppers are doom to be red at last so long as they can hold on to the end. So they never stop struggling. Life is hard for them. So what ? They have hopes. They are enjoying the process of being green. They are looking forward to the result of being red. If we say green is thick , then red is thin. They went through thick and thin together. Finally they accomplished their mission. This is pepper's fate. Even now my parents are still as hardworking as before. I admire them. They regard the farmland as their career. They love their farmland. Their youth and sweats were sprinkled upon the warm land. They are proud of being farmers. Their plants are growing well with their great care. They creatived a new land. The land brought them hopes and fortune. I don't know whether they will give up the farmland or not next year though they promised to my brother and i. They promised to us before but they had eaten their words for several years. They said they still had strength to cultivate the lovely land.
