My colleague has a cute boy of six with sharp chin and shinning eyes. He is in Grade one now. He is a quiet boy who clings to his mother very much. Wherever you see his mother, you can see him. So we call him as his mother's little tail.
The little tail likes eating snacks very much. Maybe his eyes have nothing except snacks and his mother, which are the most important for him in his mind. Whenever the class is over, he comes into our office and opens his mother's drawer to look for something to eat. No matter what we say, the little boy won't reply us. He never speak to anybody except his mother. At first we thought he was shy, but two months had passed, he still never say a word to anybody esle. Even facing the temptation of the snacks, he never said a single word. We failed many times to give snacks to him.So now we do not tease him anymore. If we want to give him something, we must give it to his mother.
Maybe that is not unusual. After all , he is just a little boy. But he has a habit that whenever he left his mother for class, he will say goodbye to his mother and his mother must say goodbye to him before he leaves. We all say his son is very polite. One day, his mother was busy with talking with another colleague, so she didn't reply him just nodded her head. Do you know what happened, the boy shouted loudly to his mother " Bye bye". He didn't leave until his mother turned around and said goodye to him. His mother complained to us she was very annoyed about his habit and told his son several times do not say to say goodbye in office, but his son still insist on saying bye bye.
Yesterday, i heard the little tail cried loudly in the hallway when i came in office. His mother was still in his anger. My colleague told me she beat his son heavily and ordered him not to say byebye anymore. His mother couldn't stand his habit anymore. How poor the little boy is! We are wondering whether he will say or not in following days. Till now, we don't hear him say bye bye though he comes in the office to enjoy his snacks as usual.
