Fireworks

Hot 1601 views. 2014-2-15 11:36

It is pretty much better than I have ever assumed because of the ban of playing fireworks. Though it is still allowed play on some granted days, speaking of the whole condition, it is getting better.
On this point, it is a good progress. With the development of economy, the pollution also comes with huge contamination. In terms of purifying the quality of air, there are still many things we need to do, this BAN is just a way for us to prevent emitting more polluted air. What is more, we need to do is to focus whole energy on the emission of vehicles and gas from factories and use of gasoline and mine.
It is a long way to achieve it. Developed countries, such as the U.S, and Japan, also suffered this problem. They spent a long time in decades to solve that, which is a really huge project.
Rome was not built in one day, so it is with the bad environment. There are many ways for us to do our efforts for that. Example, try to best to walk for a while on the way home and to the work palce, then take a few stations by a bus or subway to the destination, also make full use of tissues by saving procudtion materiels which is also another contribution to generations, etc. Hereby, the most important one is to build up a conception of that by guiding of laws and regulations.
The sun now comes out from the cloud,  I'd rather go for a walk.

Some elderly people still prefer to set off firecrackers because they believe it would scare away all the ghosts and evil spirits, but in fact firecrackers in fact cause a lot of serious fires, injure and deafen lot of people.

The Chinese government seems to be concerned about the pollution as it has hit Beijing city hard. However, not enough is done. Some factories are still polluting the air and water. Personally, I think the burning of farm waste is also contributing to the pollution. Business people from overseas are reluctant to go to China because they fear the much publicised pollution. Now they are getting bonus for working in Beijing and Tientsin because these are considered problem and hardship cities.

Just hope the authorities would take things seriously before it is too late.

yes, it is hard, but we have to, though there are still many obstacles ahead of us.
