Childbearing policy is strongly recommended to open freely. The one child policy now gradually reveals its deficiency. Now the country has entered into the aging society, that is to say, more and more people has been old and retired.
Meanwhile we are now still in the process of developing economy. We are in the developing phase. Not like developed countries, for example, Janpan, though it is aging socity now, it is totally developed yet. And the old still there takes a large part of consumption. The population bonus is going to disappear. And now we can see the lack of labor has become the main phenomenon in market. The increase cost burdens the manufacture industry and service industry. The new generation who were born after 1990s, are now becoming the main workforce. Most of them has been enducated, they have more advanced conception of life pursuit. Low and hard pay will never satisfy them any more.
Another point is that those young people are with solitude as from they were born at the time of one child policy. They hardly has sense of FAMILY, since they have only parents, plus, grandparnets. It is hard for them to understand and feel the atmosphere of being together with family members all around at the time of festivals and big jubilant events. They are also hardly to know and tell the titles of a family tree.
What is more, those one child policy families have another risk. That is those kids might not grow well and so smoothly because of unexpected fairs, accidents, incurable diseases and something like that will end their lifes . This is a huge strike for those families which is badly hurt.
We can see the media and press report news about opening the birth policy advocated by some local governments. It is said the a couple can give another one more child as long as one of them is a the only child.
Whatever, it seems a little bit change and a progesss.

- what you said is a serious fact that is reminding in two meetings. as usual, while a proposal is approved , it has many difficulty in practicing it .we are expecting this government can realize people's desire.

- Population control is a sensitive topic. China's population control has it's benefits and problems. One of the benefit is that we now have less people to feed. China's food supply is limited and cannot satisfy a huge populations. On the other hand, this policy has created a lot of problems, including single child families, spoiled single children, gender imbalance, blind chasing of male child and discrimination against female babies. The pros and cons are far too many to list here. The policy needs to be revised and updated to meet modern days demand. In fact, the people themselves are now already making their own population control. They keep pets instead of having children.
