On the way back home after work, there was few people and cars. Actually, people went back hometown a couple of days ago, some of them even did that about several weeks ago. And now, again, the city becomes quiet. It is hard to find a place to eat and even not so easy to get a barber for haircut.
After all, it comes to be at spring festival. Every year, people go back home at this very moment, such a huge migration in long distance and with a long time can be considered as the most significant wonderful phenomenon in the planet. What is behind it? There are many reasons, while the basic one is the unblanced and undeveloped in economy. Supposing one day, those people in the mid, or the northweast and some backward remote areas of this mainland are offered with a moderate position in their hometown, we can picture that there is no need to pay a visit to go somewhere thousands miles away from home, and only got few chances to go back, a ticket also costs money.
No one else is willing to sacrifice time and chance being with family if they can support life. Now, probably, is the true time to see the city.

- Now matter how times , people need to earn bread to support themselves, hoping for the high level standard of living, or making their dreams come true. They have to leave their home and their family , they have to do things that they may not do. The real life is just in that way.Hope that people all live safe and sound, and things go better.

- I have seen that deserted town scenario a year ago in Guangzhou. Suddenly a few days before Spring Festival, the streets were deserted and shops closed. It was even hard to find places for lunch. Eventually, I had to resort to Fried Ho Fun in a semi-home food shop, but it was quite tasty and I became their permanent customer.
Nobody likes to be away from home. Here is my definition of home;
Home is a shelter from storms — all sorts of storms.
Home is where the heart can laugh without shyness and
Home is where the heart’s tears can dry at their own pace.
Home is a place you grow up wanting to leave,
and grow old wanting to get back to.

- Just now, I was on the subway, and saw few passerages in compartments. Few cars and people, and those vehicles were doing great on streets, I guess this might be a cool feeling driving at that time. Since when did us get used to the rush hours and countless cars blocking roads?

- I also witnessed the phenomenon in Dongguan several years ago. The days before Spring Festival, there were few people and cars walking on the street. Most of the shops were closed. The supermarket was also desolated. I could not experience the atmosphere of Spring Festival. It was so moderate for a outlander. All in all, the foreigners didn't have the sense of belonging of this city.
