Rain after rain. This winter becomes rainy season. Awaken from the sound of rain drops, it was dark and raining heavily. After having breakfast, I took my umbrella and went to work. When I arrived at the gate outside the office building, there was an elder man at the lobby wearing a pair of browny neat uniform. He was giving out everyone a plastic bag which could prevent the floor wet from drops down.
This was the first time I noticed since I moved in the new office. He saw me holding a long umbrella and then gave me a plastic bag with almost the same length. " It is just right to cover that length of my umbrella. Thank you! " I said. He smiled politely:" You are welcome, Sir." This was the considerate service offered by the property management office.
Such a scene could be found in malls and superstores, like Wal-Mart, and Century Mart. A small inconspicuous arrangement brings impressive warmth to people's hearts. By doing like this, people feel they come to the room where it is as harmonious and genial as home.
Discovery from delicate matter is the judgement to measure capability of competition. Either from giant companies such as GE, Google or even a small grocery, anthropomorphized service is always the spirit rooted in the business.
It reminds me of the efficiency of lining up when customers waiting for payment. The time of waiting will be shortened if the cashier helps to put items into the bag in order after scanning two-dimensional code, meanwhile the customer aside is propping up bags. The cut of time wasted on waiting reduces ratio of customer complaint. And it also doubles possibilities of customers' another visit. An additional action leads a different consequence.

- Today the news reported that Beijing suddenly started to snow heavily. The grey and cold weather would be around for next few months. I successfully bought two new thick warm clothes which suit my size.
Your office building seems managed by professional caretakers. Our office buildings has been distributing these umbrella sleeves since past 10 years. It is quite useful to prevent the building lobby getting wet and slippery. After work, they distribute polythene bags to cover and protect your shoes from getting wet when it rains.
I like the way the sales people at the big chain stores who greet you with welcome when you go in and say thank you when you leave, regardless whether you buy things or not. They leave a good feeling and shoppers would like to return and buy. Previously, those sales people are stone faced and like to hard sell products to the consumer.

- Most buildings provide such measure on raining days. It is better there are specific person to help you deal with wet umbrella which also help floor keep dry. But most time it is self-service measure to finish this step which can be widely understood.

- That is good you got your ideal clothes in this winter. It is said it is going to be more cold in the next week. The temperature will drop to zero then it is real winter. So then I need to prepare my thick clothes for the coming of cold days.

- It is good that you can withstand cold winters, but I can't. I get very uncomfortable when it is cold, so next few months would be a suffering for me. The warm clothes I bought are not really that useful. It is only 2 thicker shirts which is not suitable to wearing to work. Anyway, I would see if I can buy better winter clothes.

- Just now, I watched the TV, most of northern places are now snowing heavily, especially in Bejing, nothereast parts, like Jilin, and Xinjing aera, also inner Mongolia. Some places hit the lowest temperature at -17 degrees in night now. Vehicles are stuck in high expresses. Residents are offered heating provided by gas company.

Compared to those places, it is quite better here. Though it is still cold. The difference between the northern parts to the southern ones, is the former usually to do with Dry Cold, in the chilly open air, snow likes the pownder can not be easily to form a snow ball; while the latter with the moist and damp cold which might even penerate its coldness into bones no matter how thick clothes people wear. What is more, the southern places are not provided with heating.

- Oh yes, you got it right. What we have here in Southern China is damp cold. That kind of cold is worse than snowing weather.
