It has beening snowing for almost whole day since it started at the early morning. I did not know it untill I went back to villiage. Amazing! Yesterday was sunny and now is toally white. Due to the temperature difference, remote area usualy is colder than cities. That is the why I could not see flakes in the center of city. Maybe, it will drop to be near zero, then the West Lake probably has the chance to welcome its first snow cloth at the end of this year.
Anyway, here is white. I like it very much. All of hills are almost white, roofs, roads, fields, banks of streams, power-poles, etc., now are amassed with flakes. Snow does not make any sound, it only dances quietly for a while and then lands on ground in silence without any trace. People are exciting. Because it is quite a long time that we do not have such a chance to admire this scenery. Pictures posted in wechat, Q-zone, weibo.
Bamboos are bent down drawing a large circle with their tiptops to the land. They know how to adapt piled snow on their leaves. That is why they are as the traditional symbol of resilience, longevity, gorgeousness, happiness and puruit of truth. Tree leaves become much green darkened in the grey gloomy sky. Stream goes its waters rattling against stones, echoes go and back in valley.
Though it is much colder, I feel warm. Life comes as if the moisture evaporates from hills floating in the air and covering the land. This is the best gift before the upcoming of new year.

- I am also in South China not far from Guangzhou, but I don't feel the cold yet. It is 20*C in Hong Kong, so it is not cold. The weather department says the coming week would get much colder and we are bracing for colder days.

- You do have talent in describing the things happening around you. It sounds like a Christmas Card scene and so impressive. I looked out of my window and imagined what it would be like if it snows here. The falling snow on the east mountains and white snowy grounds of the west. Indeed, the cold outside makes our homes much warmer and people are much more calm and relaxed around the fireplace or heater.

It is now quite cold here, but I am ok with it, and enjoy this moment. When you are available you may pay a visit to some places where snows heavily.
Here. The west lake is quite beautiful when it is with snow. That is another scenery different from icy cities, like Haerbin.
We have many choices to admire nature.

Yes, Christmas is coming soon. I still remembered the time when I was at college to be with friends in the English corner singing Jingle Bell togerther. The American teacher played his guitar, we followed his music. Rreally warm.

- Oh, that is a long wait. If possible, just drop everything and come to HK for a visit. 2 days is enough. It is cheap and you can afford it if you don't need luxury. Think about it when the time is suitable.
