No one else is to above the code

Hot 2715 views. 2015-12-10 21:07 | beginning, everyone, subway, people, around

I was same as others to wait for subway when it opened its first line (Line 1). Passengers were all around behind shielded gates and rushed into compartments when the train arrived. There were not so many people at the first beginning. So, everyone thought it was fine and felt not worry to cram into the room. Three years later, the underground stations are more completed demonstrating its convenience as network. Now it is more prevalent for citizens. People are willing to take the subway since it does not cost a long time to wait. The point is the train arrives on time.  As the group of people waiting for a gate is becoming larger, we now realize hard to squeeze into the room. Passengers in the room also find not that easy to alight. About two months ago, each gate appeared two waiting zones located its two sides behind the waiting line. We all line up in order and go into the room after those who alight.

The rule works, and usually plays the important role when it comes to a community. We call for freedom, but it does not mean we can do anything we want. Anything is to be done on the premise of the common principle. Of course, how to design an efficient mechanism is another problem. Otherwise, it is going to be a tumult. We are living in the chaos if we are in the surroundings full of disorders.

oh my god, you know how lucky you were. In Shanghai, the subway always crowded with people whenever is rush hour or unrush hour. You only can get the seat at first stop, and it will be good for you to find someplace to stand comfortably next one or two stops after heading out. And you may can guess the long line after the two-side shielded gate. And believe me the rush hour you even don`t need to utmost your strength to get into cau the big guy behind you  push you in so that he can be on board too.

Actually, the subway is a miniature of society. What you see on the subway is a reduced version of social culture. As our cities develop, more people use transportation and the subway gets overcrowded. New rules are regulations are enacted. The concept of disciplined queuing and orderly boarding and alighting are enforced. However, there are still citizens who ignore these rules and what that happens in our city, they are stopped and penalized. Without these controls, the subway systems would be overwhelmed and become chaotic. People tend to follow what others do in public otherwise they would be scorned, shamed or ridiculed, so it is passengers become self regulated and follow the rules.

There are still problems which need to be attended to. People like to stand at the doors in the train making it difficult to alight and enter. Some don't offer sufficient standing space and intentionally block others from getting hold of the hand rails or handles. There are also some who talk loudly on the phone or even eat on the trains which is not allowed. Just hope people would understand that the rules are for everyone to follow and there are no exceptions.

The subway is one of the most efficient modern transportation carrying huge number of passengers conveniently. It is not affected by the weather or rain. The trains are operated electronically without human intervention, so there are few accidents and safe. When the passenger volume reached full capacity, it is difficult to expand everything is underground.

To appreciate the subway, we can imagine the days when we had to rely on the buses. We should all follow the rules and make our trips more pleasant and efficient.

Considering that you can reach your destination on time, you would have to tolerate the chaos. Seems you are left with no choice but tolerate. There are still places which don't have subway service, so those people still have to suffer the bus trips.

yes, compared to several years ago when no subway or short subway extension, these days we can shorten the journey time, but the truth is the subway always overcrowded and more and more expensive. During the peak hour it make you feel like sardine in a can.

Sure, years ago, I took the subway in Shanghai. Very crowded at that time. Even the women and girls who wore high heels were running fast than I could. That really impressed me.

A friend told me that once he was on a subway and saw a girl could not alight the station because she was pushed back to the compartment again, then the train started to the next station.  My friend really worried about her and thought if she would be late to work in the morning.

I know that. So compared to cities like Shanghai and Beijing, I am lucky to be here.

Right. The subway is a mini society. People there also need to respect each other and make everything in order, otherwise it is going to be a mess.

We should thank for the public transportation construction, such as subway, which brings us convenience.
