Afternoon walk

Hot 3878 views. 2015-12-26 21:00 | afternoon, Sunny

Brilliant. Sunny again. So I took a walk this afternoon. The blue sky made me joyful. As if I were at a wonderful place I have never been to before. Probably, that is the excitement I have not had for a long time. Because of the rain, most of days for quite a long time were under the domination of gloomy and rainy weather.

Alongside the West Lake, tourists were exciting at such a nice moment.  They couldn't help photographing on everything. Even a single fallen leave loaded on the ground, there were always some people who would keen down and took it by grabbing at their cameras carefully.

The sky was so purified blue. Ponds of waters rippled waves passing reflection to the bank nearby where I was standing. Though lotus gone with shriveled leaves, I could still find its beauty from withered stems. Good weather extremely inspired people going down to the lake. Warmth of sunshine softened me from stiffness after sedentary too long indoors. Exposure in the air, closed eyes and listened to the sound of wind and giggling  and smiling from pedestrians, was a wonderful relaxation.

There are countless legends written in every tree, grass, branches, pavilion, pagoda and grain of sands. Spiritual inspiration comes at this very time. Let it be my honor to have them impressed into my mind. Whenever and wherever, should I never forget.

As approach of twilight, sunset reddened the skyline and few clouds were dyed like flames. Tourists were still there reluctant to leave. No one wanted to miss such a wonderful time. Who knows what the next blue sky day would come?

When I was back, there was a trail of smell from quilts left by casting from sun extraviolet light. So I could have a sweet dream tonight. Need not to worry the moisture from quilts any more.

I am glad I once visited West Lake and have seen with my own eyes the beauty it possess. The photos you have taken refreshes my memory of this wonderful place.

My deepest impression was Viewing Fish and Lotus Fronds at Flower Pond
At the southern end of Causeway, there is a charming garden with many varieties of trees and flowers, including a peony garden  and the famous goldfish pond. The Pagoda was a bit crowded when I was there but still worth a visit.

Anyone who has not seen West Lake cannot say he has seen China. I got to make another visit to the West Lake and this time I am gonna see all the things I have missed and it should be timed during Spring to take have a best view of this legendary place.

IMNONARCISSUS: Really fine weather and beautiful scenery!  Were the pictures taken by you ? They look wonderful!
Yes, very beautiful. I did not take my camera. And the phone is not that ideal to capture such a good scenery. So I just chose to walk around enjoying the wonderful scenery.

In most cases, people are willing to bring cameras and phones to take pictures, while they really do not pay the attention on what they really see. Unfortunately, they miss the essential part while they are busying photographing. Surely, it is needed at some time to take some pictures to memorize the good moment. But, we rarely calm down to pay a real visit to admire beautiful nature.

Those pictures were cited from the domestic official website. They were taken yesterday, and very nice.  All of those spots were the same as I passed by there. You should come to here to see that when you are free.

Have a good day, friend.

There are many spots alongside the West Lake. You may pay another visit to see them and you will discover more.

There are rural villages located in the west to the Lake. If you spare some time to go there, you can visit another view of mountainous hills, trees and flowers. Each house alongside roads is serving for dinner. Thought it is not that luxury compared to a five-star hotel, it gives you another rural warmth. The food simply cooked is yummy, especially after a long walk. The host could make a cup of local green tea for you. The tea is picked and processed from the hill around the village.

It won't cost you much money while you can be full and satisfying by paying this visit.

What a life people living there.

Oh, I didn't know that there are rural villages at the west of the Lake.
I would certainly love to visit these rural villages particularly because there is the chance for us to visualize rural activities in real time. I have
made a note that I must go there on my next visit to West Lake. Thanks.
Having a simple meal there plus a cup of home grown and made tea
would be a great experience for me. The proximity of the village to
West Lake makes them special too. I don't really like luxury because
I have seen them all and nothing is better than simplicity and originality.
When I was a kid, my family was just ordinary and we lived a simple frugal life  but life was meaningful and fulfilling so that is why rural life has meaning to me. The luxury and material around me at present are merely possessions.

I remember sometime ago, at our small local traditional Chinese Tea House, the owner told me something about Longjing Tea which appears to come from the area you mentioned. He also told something about a relative of the emperor visiting the area and given Gong Cha status to the Longjian Tea produced there. Seem the buses are still living and the tea they produce is  worth more than gold.

No wonder why you love tea so much. You know how to enjoy the best of the best.

Quite good that you know some of its original history.

And I told you the place that you can go there to have a rest after walking around. Really leisurable paying a visit going there.

Particularly, in a summer night when it is hot in the centre of city while cool in the remote villages. Because of trees and moisture from the lake cool people off a lot.

Besides, in the end of May and beginning of June, the maturity of waxbeery is at the right to launch on sales. Some peasant carry out buckets of berries. Though they are not totally sweet, but tasted a little bit special sour with blood red juice squeezing out from months. After bargaining, you can buy something to have a taste. Whoa, I can not helping swallowing out my saliva right now.

If you are lucky, you can reserve a seat where is next to a lotus pond nearby. Sound of frogs, and some other insects would really break the silence yet happily to hear of their singing.

Having some sun flower seeds and taking some sips of tea, all of the tiredness gone away without any trace. Having some simple and palatable food adds the rural exotic atmosphere.

Anyway that is really a deserved place that you should go. Anyway time you are there you meet different scene as your pleasant advent of journey.
