Maturity comes at the price of time. Whatever it is good or not, it is just the growth. The only difference is the good one brings healthy development, the bad ends to the infinite regress.
So, when you are told that you are grownup, do not take it seriously. You are the only one who truly know what exactly it is. Never mind the compliments if you are really excellent. If not, it could be astonished and guilty due to the lack of confidence and thinking about whether the sweet words from that person is really supportive of you.
Gone with memory of youth. Good memory leaves only skinny reality after being stripped off its gorgeous veil. Wrongdoing is not a problem only if it could be revised. Otherwise, it is a dead end and to be at the verge of missing the turning point.
Wherever you are at. Whatever you do. There is something could have been done better. A slight sorrow always sways around mind.
It could be:
If I studied well, I might now enter into a famous enterprise with remarkable social status and decent incoming. Do not have to work so hard day and night.
If I can really realize the importance of time, I swear I would not let it go so easily. I can arrange schedule well to make everything ordered as wanted.
Normally, we have something regretful. We can live well by avoiding indulging into tiny petty trifles. Should the mind and body get out of stagnant pond of the stinky swamp. Proceed with hard work, motivate further movement.
Let it be to be at the where it was. After the wind and cloud, there is sunny again.
Though the blossom of flowers is flourishing, there is no trace of acquaintance. This is quite right the part of life.
If everything goes so smoothly, it happens only in dreams in the dark deep night.

- Yes indeed. By nature, most of us are comfortable with wishful thinking.

Examples of these are like what you said; regrets of not studying better, wastage of time or missed opportunities. Everyone of us looking back into our past have some regrets. In fact, we should not judge the past according the the present situation. If we do that, we are talking with hindsight. The past is the past and the present. It is great to reminiscent and recall our past but there is nothing to regret about. We all age and degenerate as time goes.
There is no such thing as a perfect past or perfect life. Everyone has some regrets. We are all fortunate if we have good health, a job, family, friends and a roof over our heads.

Day dreaming does not bring any practical reward. So we have to do something and put it into practical use, one step a time, never so easily to be influenced by some other tempattions halfway.

Yes, everyday or on regular basis, I write something. That could be my plan as long as I can write.

when i started to go to primary school my dad asked me to keep a dairy . for the small kid as me, i really didnt enjoy it much .its more like a task, but also thanks to my dad, i kept this habit even after i went to high school ,i found its interesting and very helpful to let out my stress . i kept this habit until i finished my university study .
