- It is so true that knowledge is power and when a person acquires such power, he must know how to put it to good and effective use. There is always a place for knowledge and skill in society. Anyone who has a useful skill can usually succeed and earn a good living in society. In my city, we have a policy of lifelong learning. Everyone has to upgrade his own knowledge or acquire a useful skill. All these knowledge combined together would create a proud and productive city.
We have no choice but to embrace the notion of ''survival of the fittest''. Although, notion is cruel and and exclude some people who are less competitive, we have to accept because that is what makes everything go forward. China itself has tried the commune system where everyone does the same work and receive the equal benefits in return, but a such system would not encourage productivity and innovation, therefore, China has adopted the capitalist market economy system which is working quite well. Just give everyone the chance and they would be able to survive on his own.

Everyday I meet new information and many other things. II have to see what kind of those things that might be useful and good for me.
Lifelong learning now requires us to form the habit of acquire knowledge. To upgrade ourselves, and meanwhile, to be more competitive.
What is more, knowledge becomes fresh when we use it and see its productivity.
