The subway safety check now upgrades to be much stricter. When I arrived at the station, there was a long line of people waiting for going through the checkpoint. Consciously, I joined the line and thanked the due time that I came in the early morning.
When I was approaching to the checkpoint, a rushed woman who did not wait in line failed her attempt to dash through it.
“Please, let me go, I am catching the train.”
“Sorry, everyone waits in order, please obey the rule.”
“You see, I only have a handbag. What if I open it and let you have a look at it?”
“Sorry again, it is the rule. Only those who do not carry anything could go through it without checking. And I cannot make an exception for you.”
Apparently, there was no room for mediating, she tried again to go through it, however, was stopped by the security. She was murmuring something I could not hear clearly, but surely they were bad words from the anger in her reddened face.
It was at rush hour, the queue became longer. She could do nothing but look for the tail of the line.
