Life could be dignified and nothing else would counter against your will. Not a single moment risks the precious time of living with everything. Would anything be done by the name of this god, would those mercifulness and sympathy be blessed on behalf of salvation.

This is an email I wrote last year to myself, and I found it which has already been sent to the inbox a couple of days ago. It finally automatically came to me silently which was edited on the same date a year ago. On account of work, I have to check mails between fragments of time.
From those words, I found it really has brought me a lot, a brand new vision to view myself about what I have done in the past whole year. Things changed, yet we are still on the way to march forward.
Overlooking the roads and buildings, the world is becoming white under the furious stormy snow. It has kept snowing for two days, most guys were just exciting and praying it would be more than the snow.
In the morning, it finally stopped. There is a three-day frozen age under zero. Though the sun is there, accompanying the chilly wind, and drops of melted snow hitting on the ground, now it is such a cold moment as if I were in the northeast where I went to years before.
This weekend will be colder and I have been so ready for preparation in the upcoming coldness. Coats, cardigans, sweaters and long johns are those nagged all the time from parents to my ears that I need to put them on. What I told them is I am OK, and I know what I should do. They are the very ones to be under the prevention of everything in cold days.
Imaging the whole day will be under zero is another challenge for most ones, while I am thinking it is quite a chance to test how much endurance I can stand.
In the dawn, it was still gloomy. On the path to the Lingyin Temple, there were few people. I chose to walk, at such a moment, there was no alternative other choice to be there. The hills are all covered with white snow. After another forty minutes, I climbed to the peak of Beigaofeng where is perfect to overview the West Lake. All is quite, and everything is neat, only the sound of breath explains the life of endeavor.
On the top of hill, standing above the city, staring at the lake and temple, glancing visitors continuously marching forward on the foot of hill. Fresh air coming through lungs and refreshing the mind, it was amazing to change another visit by looking at the white scenery. Green trees inks its dark green upon the white, displaying a huge map of the traditional Chinese watercolor.
Let it be me as free as the wind and as lucky as the nature. Stayed, stayed and stayed.
Comes the weekend again, no serious topic, wish everything goes as well as I wrote in the mail.

- We should once in a while review our performance to see what improvement is need. Writing a daily short diary is a good way. I look back to last year and could identify where I did wrong and if the things I did was necessary. We should not pressure ourselves excessively. A life has to be lived no matter good or bad, so why not live it to the best we can. Nobody is invincible. We are all subjected to reality. At certain stages of our life, we have to surrender to fate. What is yours is destined to be yours, what is not yours just let go. It is kind of strange to see people dressed differently. Some covered head to feet in thick clothing. First time seen so many people wearing woolen head tops. Some just a bit more than summer. The most outstanding are two girls in super short pants and thick coat. Seems they can forsake their attractiveness and would rather brace the cold.
This morning I went out early for a walk to taste the cold. Most people are heavily armored in thick clothing. A friend in the neighborhood was wearing woolen headgear and gloves. The street side stalls selling steamy hot snacks were doing brisk business. I bought two hot steamed meat buns and ate it as I walked. Some people enjoy the winter and they wish it to be colder for excitement. Others who are vulnerable to cold wish it become warmer soon. Hard to please everyone. The trusty hot keeping cup with tea does provide some warmth.
Snow at the West Lake is impressive but the greenery in summer seems more matching to the lake. We need to learn how to appreciate the seasonal changes.

- Today is getting colder, though the sun is there, while there is a strong gale blows off any heat. There is a remote mountainous places here is tested to be 19.9 degrees under zero. Oh, it is really iced to be frozen.

Some residents are facing the problem of water supply because of frozen pipes. A vivid description about the current condition is "The sun looks like a lamp in a refrigerator". It is a rare seen cold wave for decades, most kids have never met such an occasion before.
It will last to Tuesday and then gradually goes back to warm.
