Here are many friends who are fond of English. And also I see new guys coming out here to write. I feel good. Because it is the good to exchange and share, meanwhile it does give us the chance to learn from each other.
We may often feel it is hard to write as freely as natives and as good as writers. It does not mind. We are not writers, but we can try bettering by practicing. To be honest, English is a language and widely used all over the world. It is quite popular and prevalent for us to communicate. No matter where you are from, and what kind of color of skin you are with, what religion you believe, it does give us the bridge to see and what we can connect. It is a systematic process of learning something, such is the same with the English. Here I talk about writing.
Yes, write something is one of the basic needs for us to transmit messages and information to others. It is different from spoken English, listening and speaking. In the process of writing it requires a person's mind to focus on the thing he wants to share and express well so that others can fully understand. Otherwise, it does not work well if they do not know what you wrote, such a writing could be somehow failed to the initial point of communication.
How to write?
This the key point I want to share. In my personal experience, there is not shortage of topics and materials that we can write. Something we met, heard of, something we are inspired and enlightened. Those are just right things we can write down. Since writing different from oral English, we have to write them down with logicality. There is deduction of some conclusions if it is asked to do so. By doing so, it fosters us the ability of thinking more sensible and wise.
In the first beginning, we might feel it hard to write down. Do not know where should we start. Have no clues to write the whole story though it is simple to image in brain, it just goes harsh when it is to record on a paper. Yes, they are skills accumulated from constant practice. There is no shortcut to obtain overnight.
Many years ago, when I wanted to write, I did meet that kind of problems. I also gave up since the frustration always came to me and implied me that I was not that qualified to be good enough to write. After months of inner mind struggling, I began to redo again. By recording tiny little petties with patience and gradually I found I could write something though they are now seemed to be not that mature, I was really encouraged at that moment. Because I saw growth. As I went through hardship, I know the meaning of perseverance and constant hard work. Which really comes at the cost of consuming my time and energy. Finally it turned to be worth of doing so.
No matter how many books and other references we have read, if we do not put them into pragmatic use, it hardly becomes the real knowledge we have. Some guys find it is not that hard to read something, while it is hard to write when they are asked to do write a report or message. Because they seldom write. Even we remember many words, we only know them, but do not have the adequacy to express freely. When we listen and read, we gain information, how to input those we got, it absolutely has to write.
Do not feel bad. No one else was good at the first place. Just think that a baby tried to walk when he or she attempted to stand up and get rid of helps from parents'. After trials of many failures, the baby staggered to walk and went further till finally could walk naturally.
In the process of writing, you will discover the gap between those who are good at writing, and messages from those authentic presses and magazines or other medias. By comparing those good articles, you find how to use words and arrange to be more smooth as nature as native writing. Then you get to know how to make paragraphs and pay the attention of SPACE of each word, the outline of the log you wrote. Then you get satisfied about your own writing, and others will become interested and feel comfortable to read your blogs. You improve the high readership and meanwhile the interaction of reader. Which will help you to get know what others' responses of your work, then you try to adjust style of your own.
Good writing means high qualification about good opportunity of promotion and wide range of social connection. Everyday spend time doing exercises, and there is no doubt it is going to be better and better.

Not only have you learned to write English well, you have also undertook to help others to write better by responding to their blogs effectively and proficiently in English. I never expected that friends here in Dioenglish can do that but this has come true and is a satisfaction.
Actually, I am quite surprised that you can write so well in English. It is indeed not not only about writing skills and vocabulary. It is also about complicated, touchy topics and elusive thoughts. You are almost near perfection in English, and as a native English person I can say you can write well and you seems to be connected to society, have a clear mind and know what is going on in society and around you.
Therefore, I am quite amazed and surprised that you and other friends here could write so proficiently and pleasantly in English. The magic seems to be at the force to start writing a few paragraphs and the insistence to go on writing without giving up. When you have a rough draft on hand, revise it a bit and you can post it. Most of the blogs are worth reading. Everyone, including me makes some grammatical mistakes, but those mistakes would disappear in time with practice. What is more is that those who can write well, can also speak English fluently with a bit of practice and fine tuning. Just like learning to ride a bicycle, no book can teach you until you actually go on to a bicycle and learn how to balance and go forward. Practice is what it takes.
Your skill have progressed to near my level of a native English person and that is no easy task. No school or tuition can improve English writing like that, no matter how much fees you pay. Furthermore, the topics people write about here are what is on most people's minds and connected to our present Chinese societal culture.
As a English native person, English writing is not a problem for me, but composing is not that easy for anyone. Perhaps you don't know that writing is not simple for me either. Don't think that English words would come freely into my mind and I only need to write it out. It is not that simple, certainly not. It is quite tiring, problematic and exhausting. I also give readily up after writing some words and find it hard to complete an article. I also sometimes doubt if my writing are worth publishing and worthwhile for others to read. First, I have to think about the subject or topic, organize the flow, revise and then put it into words. Putting thoughts into words is not so simple because I am not a computer. I have to think and choose suitable words which I learned, compose them and arrange them into a pleasant article. My vocabulary comes from reading other English materials and I am not born with a strong vocabulary. I am not a composer by nature either. Words don't dome to my mind readily, I have to think and call up those words which I feel suitable and put them into use. Everyone has to go through this procedure, not matter you are good in English or not.
To be frank, I have a busy business to run and other troublesome things to attend to everyday, but somehow, the things friends write about here attracts my attention like magnet to iron and I am compelled to respond. There are many things in life worth our attention and reading and writing here is one of the worthwhile things worth doing for everyone and myself. Through the things friends write about, I understand a lot more about life and daily challenges, while I notice the English skills of friends here improve by leaps and bounds.
There is no never ending party in the world and everything has to come to an end sometime. I hope everyone can value this scarce opportunity to improve your English level. As you have said, English is used in most of the countries in the world. Anywhere I go in the world, I have managed to use English to seek directions, guidance and social interactions at even the remote small villages. There are unlimited chances for those who are proficient. In a lot places, proficiency in English is a premium qualification and opens a lot of doors of opportunities. I have observed that most Chinese nationals who are fluent in English are self confident, assured, intelligent and resourceful. Hope all our friends here can have all these advantages too. Competence and literacy is the base of progress. Knowledge is power and power comes from knowledge.

Later I told to myself, I have studied it for so many years, while I even could not wirte and use well. There must be actions that I have to improve and get breakthrough it. Years of accumulation on self study, I gradually find I am just nobody, and see myself nothing but a man who knows little while think things too much and seriously yet lacks of exercises. Then, I spend time doing study, not just English, but also some others, and bring myself back to the track of knowledge seeking.
In the process of learning is really tough, I have to overcome boring feeling and build up patience to cope with a long time being alone without anybody interrupted. I learnt to endure solitude and gained the mind to think over things by myself. Though there is still a long way to go, I am ready enough to deal with what I may be about to meet in the future.
I never thought I would make progesss, and also did not expect somebody like you would come out to comment and help others to learn. Now I find it is true if we want to be rewarded, first we have to share and help others. Not only the money, donation, and some others, but also the help of suggstiongs and advices and providing useful information. When I am free, I come here, when I am busy with work and other trifles, I do squeeze time to join in blogs here to see what kind of thing that I might inspire and encourage people here.
It is really amazing, by interaction, I leant a lot and have the speed and skill of writing improved efficiently. When I see some of friends make progess and have their other things improved, I feel good. I can also do something to influence and help them. Even the help is not so strong as the those stars, while, I do believe that I can finish well by insistence.
Quite fascinating that I am fully obsessed by its charming. The writing here is the black hole full of powerful energy and I'd rather go there.
By hanging in there, I know the importance of constant persistence. Anything we want to make a big difference, we have to endure loneliness and temptation, which is not easy. Because we are ordinary.
Great step comes from small accumulation. Great improvements made from hard work.

- I really want to know how to improve my writing, I have a sina blog, since the year 2012 till now, I have kept writing for four years, but i found no any improvment, surely I am not hesitate to write before starting, just the expressions are not as good as yours. some of friend told me, I need to read some native books, but you know I am lazy to read, so obviously the large number of articals has not given me so confident on writing.

There are many good books for us. Thus we have to sort those books and find something which are right for us and good for improving writing.
Anyway, whatever we read, we finally have to write something. If we do not do that, we can not improve.
Usually we might focus on the skills of using good words and nice metaphors. Yes, they are going to be colorful if we use them well. While for most of us, we only need to write clearly about what we want and feel. At first, we could only emphasis on the narrative of stories and things we write.
As experience gained, we can try to write better by using proper nice words and also some other good expressions. Writing is a constant work, which costs many years for us to grow up. Roma is not built in a day.

- Everyone has special interests of reading something. When I am free, I read some novels of English version. I like detective novels, thus I read something such as the Sherlock Holmes. I also like some others, like Jane Eyre. There could be some contemporary writers who left us good books. Such as Harry Potter, I like those magic novels. Yes, the Lord of Ring is also the favourite one. I even read the Holy Bible, there are many interesting stories.

By reading those books, it does help me a lot and I learn of skills of writing. When you are free, you might try to find out something you like to read.

Though it is convenient for us to read online, while I'd rather like reading books and enjoying the feeling of turning pages. Quite a enjoyment. By reading, we can improve a lot both in comprehension and judgement. It helps us to enhance the ability to write better.
