When reality breaks bubble of imagination

The weather is changing. We do not know when exactly it is to be sunny, though we can predict. As the report from the weather bureau, the sleet came as it is said. In the morning, when I opened the window, I saw tiny balls of iced snow flying softly and silently in the air. It changed fast, though I have made the preparation, still feel the frozen air coming around. The temperature difference leaves dew on the inner window, has caused misty ambiguity upon against the vision through outdoors. In comparison with days before, it is now becoming another world.
Today is the Valentine's Day. Most of western countries' holidays are now introduced to all over the world. Something like globalization. We are more convenient to communicate with the world. Not bad. But today, I do not say any word of Happy Valentine's Day.
Here is the news which is not so appropriate to retell, I still want bring it out. A couple of days ago, a piece of news that a Shanghai girl asked for help online by posting a picture of dinner in her boyfriend's hometown. She was persuaded to see her boyfriends' parents during this spring festival. Finally she promised to go with him. When she saw the living condition of boyfriend's hometown, she was extremely shocked. She also confused a lot and wondered the gap between the reality of her previous assumption. She tried to conceive the worst of imagination of her boy's home so that she could ask herself to accept the truth. Finally, it turned out the fact of breakup.
As for the picture of dinner she posted, we can easily search it online and see that. More details would be easily found online. Surely, there are many comments left from netizens. On the base of marriage, there should be the solid support of substance, or could be boiled down to a single word, that is MONEY. Right, money is not almighty, without it we hardly move. Therefore, we can understand the difference of the two beloved ones cannot stand together any more. Brutal. It happened, and does exist.
This does not mean we should be crazy of becoming a materialism. It only teaches us to know the huge difference of social treasure and wealth allocation. Somebody might come out by saying "There are also someone who came from remote rural poor places, they finally succeed and win great fortune and happiness of family." Yes, it is true. While, the possibility of achieving such a successful career is extremely small. Particularly, at this time, the available social resources are mostly ascribed to those upper class and elites. They are the few ones who take over a larger portion of belongings. Thus, it is really hard to for those guys who want to seek happiness in modern metropolises. The ordinary usually cannot be that lucky.
There are also many youngsters now choose to stay in small cities, not far away from hometown. They might be used to work in big cities and come back later because of high living cost. Modern society also has some of its shadow under the sunshine. We must envisage it. A billionaire cannot understand how could the poor be so poor; a person was born from a slum fully does not understand how rich could be a rich person like. They are two groups of people in two different world.
Meanwhile, the middle class is seeking the chance of bettering life. Generally, they want to live well. Usually they struggle to earn a living and now it seems they approach to the goal as they want. Most of those guys are graduated from good schools, or trained well by studying some special skill, also some others are also from poor families and now have achieved some greatness. This group is the hope of society. They are neither too rich nor too poor. They also have to burden the pressure of buying a house with the hope of living in a city. Most of those people make living by hard work, they know the hardship of happiness pursuit.
Everyone has his choice. We respect decisions we made, and we fight for what we want. To be rational and realistic yet not mad of becoming a slave of money.

- to be the net friend, it is very hard to know the real status, even there are the video and voice, like the education, the occupation and family background very hard to know the thuth or not, so before become the friend, you might have to know the risk.

Everything is changing so fast in society and if we are not aware of what is going on around us, we would be left behind, rejected, misinformed, misguided or treated as an outcast. It is easy to say that I have my own thoughts and I don't care about what is happening. Reality would catch up with you and mete out the punishment. Failure would greet us if we are not prepared for contingencies or eventualities.
Some of my friends working for large multinational companies here in China believe that their well paid jobs can be held for a whole lifetime, but what they don't realize is that those are actually profit making enterprises and when they don't have profits, they would take out the austerity knife to cut jobs and reduce employee expenditure. When a company loses money they would first reduce staff. That is an easy thing to do for the management. They would hold a meeting with the personnel department instructing them to cut a large number of employees. The usual way they do it is to give everyone a short memo saying sorry, due to continued drop in profits, we have no choice but to consider redundancy. We regret to inform you that your services is no longer required and you are requested to vacate your post at the end of this month. Please handover your employee ID, keys and any pending work. We thank you for your past services and wish you the best for your future.
Loss of a job can be devastating for a family. Most people rely on them to pay house mortgages, living, expenses for elders or child education.
So how do we face these threats and uncertainties? All of us should gain sufficient experience in their own field, acquire special skills, upgrade language skills and survival capabilities. A person who don't repair his leaking gutters would have to repair his whole house.
It is quite worrying that even nature cannot make up it's mind. The weather is suddenly freezing cold, frosty, warm, wet and back to warm, dry and cold again. This type of weather is bearable, but it does remind us that anything can change overnight, so whatever we have accumulated could be lost instantly except accumulated experience and knowledge.
We have all tasted prosperity in the past few years and lots of people have moved from rural villages to work in the cosmopolitan big cities. They all have high hopes of good income and savings. Most end up holding ordinary jobs and income only sufficient for their own expenses leaving nothing for savings or sending back home. The thoughts of returning to settle in their familiar hometowns arise. There are now job opportunities in the cities of many provinces. This causes confusion among migrant workers. The question to consider is whether to stay, return home or wait and see. The days ahead would be stormy for most people.
Men are trying hard to earn more money, girls are trying hard to seek marriage, married couples are trying hard to live in big cities for the benefit of their children. Business people are anxiously waiting to see how the economy performs in the next few months. No matter how threatening or worrying the situation is, we still have to do everything we can to improve our life and status.
The happiness and joy of the Spring Festival is gradually subsiding and the regular days of work and struggles is setting in. Everyone have some plans on hand for the year and hope everything would turn out favorably as planned.
No wonder the internet is slower today. Today is Valentine's day. All those who are romantically involved are busy sending and receiving Valentine's card around the world, and those who are not attached, like me, watch on the sidelines.
As for marriage, it is really unwise to value the financial background and status of families. The status and income of a person can change according to development. A poor person can be rich through his own efforts and a rich man can become destitute due to unexpected crises. Marriage has nothing to do with money. It is a union between two people like the marriage vow says, ''I take you Miss ... to be my wedded wife. To have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness or in health, to love and to cherish till death do us part. And hereto I pledge you my faithfulness. So. help me god.
That girl who shunned her boyfriend has made a terrible mistake which she would likely regret later. This reminds me of the famous saying; Do you want to be the happy wife of a riding on the back of a ordinary man's bicycle or you want to be the neglected wife or a rich man on the back of a BMW car.
I myself have tasted the bitter past, unimaginable hardships, rejection, poverty, helplessness and uncertainty. I have fought through those stormy days, survived and gained personal confidence. Considering that I have seen the worst, there is nothing that can bring me down or destroy me. That is real life and I hope everyone can face their own challenges, hardships and survive confidently. You can do it.
Finally, we should all evaluate our own position, upgrade ourselves, plan our future, prepare for the worst and do whatever needed to have a content, secured and happy future.

- Everything has its goodness and badness. We have to sharpen eyes. Though sometimes we cannot really see all the goodness and recognize those badness, we still stick with our mind of going forward.

When I read your comments, I learnt something which is helpful for me.

This saying really gives us room to think and rethink our life. What should we get, and what we really want.
There are many ways for us ahead. We do not which one is the right way to future. Now that we are on the way, we have to cope with everything we meet and swallow those we committed.
When I found something, I would see what it might be the essence for me, and us. By sharing something here, I wish I can bring some others. Something different that we can think and conclude.
Because everyday there are so many things happen around us. I observe those stuff, and discover those things around me. Since everything is universal, we more or less would learn something we want.
There is no absolute answer. It lies in what we assume. Each of us is following his way forward.
After years of work and social experience, I got to know more than I had before. There is also another saying that Society is an university from which we can finally get all of those things we meet and want. Happiness, sorrows, meet and part, ups and downs, all of those are being one poem portrays one's life and the whole world too.
The record of life brings us of growth.
