The news of Alphago, the designed by DeepMind a company affiliated to Google, defeated world champion Lee Sedol of South Korea Wednesday in the game of Go-chess dominates head titles these days. We appreciate the marvelous and incredible technology of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and also feel a little bit scary of that introduction. We might think that one day it will challenge human beings. If we just think so, we could have been owning that kind of fear two decades ago when the Deep Blue devised by IBM won the Chees game over the world chees master.
Till now, we are good and enjoying the convenience that computer has brought to us. What about one day, the scene showed in the movie will really happen in reality that mankind is under the threat of AI operated robots. We have already watched the movie The Matrix years ago which shocked us. That one told us finally the machine and human rival each other and remain stable that any of the part can not completely conquer the other one. Actually, those Hollywood Blockbusters usually share us visual impact. Particularly, we are guided into another world on those Si-fi movies. Besides the shaken movie screen, it always leaves us some imagination and expectation in the future.
Today, some of those technologies have already realized our dreams that could be a unbelievable assumption years ago, or even centuries ago. Though there are many branches of scientific researches are blocked on some unknown truths, we are gradually on the way to decipher them little by little in the hope of that one day we can understand the mechanism of universe. Science has now on the process of coding human genes with the development of biology. Probably one day, scientists can even recode genes as any form they want. Could it be a disastrous startup then? We do not know. As the advent of high-tech accompanies us, human beings are always feeling worried to some degrees. It is natural to conceive that anxiety which upgraded stronger than any other time after the explosion of the Atom Bomb in Japan. Energy equals a square of mass which generates superpower that we have never met before.
At present, the AI is just like the new kind of style about superpower. We can not judge whether it brings good future or not. At least right now, we stay intact. Don't think over that too much, we are living what we can resort to right now. Stay with the significant other, do what we are interested in, the arrangement is doomed to be designed as what it should be like.

- The advancement of science and technology is altering the lives of everyone. At present scientists can produce two exactly same person if they want to do that but it is not permitted by society.
The advancement of medicine prolong the lives of people. The lifespan of people have increased from 65 to 85 on average during the last three decades. The result is that we have longevity but people have all sorts of illness at old age.
Computers and cellphones have changed the social behavior of most people. There are more communications but less personal interactions and contacts. Hard to say whether these technologies are beneficial but everyone is thrown into the world of electronics whether they like it or not.
Are the people of this generation happier than the previous generation? I would say they are better fed and have more material possessions but they are emotionally worse off.
It is quite exhausting for students and people in generation having to catch up with the latest developments. There always a price to pay for progress and as you have said ''something gained, something lost''.

- We have tech to bring us convenience, we also face the challenge that we are now getting a little bit lazy, since the tech shortens the distance of communication and the cost of traveling, so it seems that we do not spend much time and energy on something than what we needed before. Thus we save much time for doing some others. It is good.

The point is that we are having too much information and the convenience that we might do not ask that too much. Therefore, it comes the problem of overloaded messages and things, and we feel no fun in doing more. That is why we all choose to head down staring at phone screens by saying nothing to each other. Some cases happened. Such as somebody just saw nothing ahead of his way and got hit by a car when he came across the street playing the phone games.
Once we are isolated from those appliances and electronic equipment, we are likely to be nervous and restless, as if we are living a world without hope and connection. When we are back to phones, computers, etc., almost find nothing else there, only several inessential text messages, or some spam emails in the inbox.
Every coin has its two sides. We have to know how to use and control it well.

- Besides my own successful trading business, I was for sometime also an ''office automation consultant''. The automation work means I help offices automate through computers and my office management expertise. The end result was that the offices after automation decides to reduce staff to cut costs. As such, I was making people lose jobs. I felt a bit guilty by doing such work. This is the negative side of technology. I gave up this work and concentrated on trading which gave my much more income and satisfaction.
Modern technologies had good and bad sides, so we have to balance everything before adopting or accepting them.
