Every morning, the bell shrills loudly and all of a sudden the sweet dream is swept away. The unwillingness of getting up occupies the body and calls back to the warm comfortable quilt again. Never gonna be back to work till the last minute is asking the warning of being almost late.
Believe it or not, this scene happens to everyone. The most important thing is that we almost forget the breakfast that we should have. Usually, we just simply have something, if there is no time left, buns, candy or just anything used to stuff stomach would be okay.
In fact the breakfast is important and most of us just do not take it seriously. When I get up, I will cook for myself. Sometimes I make congee with various of ingredients, including millet, black rice, lotus seeds, jumble beads, black beans, sesame seeds, lilies, job’s tears, dried longan, and some others. Before stewing, they would be put together to into the water for immersing hours. After that, probably I get up in the very early morning, I could simmer all of them down while I am out for jogging or walking in about forty minutes. When I am back, it is done with great scent. It will be better if some sugar is added into it, but I seldom eat sweet food.
At some other time, I just make some noodles, by adding some kinds of vegetables, such as carrots, and broccoli, cabbages with fried eggs. With some spring onions which are sliced into pieces can not have gone any better. Any ingredient would be nice according to personal appetite. After having that, drinking a glass of milk, that is definitely comfortable.
When I am required to the office early, I have to give up my DIY breakfast and get some in the company’s canteen. Fortunately, such a case is exceptional. Usually, I do that and have my style dish as I want. It won’t cost much money, and it just serves well being. Sometimes, we spend the money while eat not so well in a restaurant or an eatery. The food safety always triggers my nerves. Therefore, I choose doing that at home.
Mom cooks good food, but sometimes I feel it is a must to do something for myself. The breakfast I also do for them when I am free on weekends. We often enjoy yummy food from parents, and seldom do that for them.
Food is the paramount necessity for people. While we just do not have the concept of its importance. And what is more, we just think it is only the thing we need enough and rarely own the opinion of life quality improvement. This is the just right first step of a meaningful life.
