Very hard to decide what kind of blankets I should use during those days. It could be immediately going down to be cool enough as if it enters into the autumn, meanwhile, it also turns into extremely hot as if the summer is just here. The wide range rainfall has impacted many southern cities and areas with the devastation of power interruption and infrastructure caused by disastrous flood. Fortunately, it just goes under control here. The heat wave in daytime now somehow has already burnt people on streets. Thus, I do not choose to stroll around.
My waxberry wine has largely been consumed which reminds me that the waxberry soon would grow mature to launch again. This berry is sour with little sweet to eat. It is very helpful to have that in moist damp rainy days which would alleviate the symptom of heatstroke and also has some helpful therapy to administrate digestion in the means of preventing people from diarrhea.
The berry season does not last long which only sustains in no more than three weeks. So the best way is to keep it by having it made into wine by immersing this kind of fruit with strong white liquor. About two weeks later, the red berry juice is infiltrated by the strong liquor and then the wine brewed to lovely red color. Then it becomes the palatable beverage to drink. Behave my greed, otherwise it could easily tempt me to drink a lot till finally I am unconsciously drunken. The sweet beverage does not alert it a real wine but does convince you the goodness of its drinking. However, some people have no such a problem. They are not fond of drinking or allergic to alcohol. So they do not drink anything or just sip a little bit.
Every that moment, it just comes the wet weather and everything easily goes to mould. But the waxberry is the symbol of this right time to tell people hot summer comes so long as the rain spell ends up.

- Yeah, I am still using using one thick and one thin blanket. The thick blanket I keep at the bedside for use when it is cool around 4 or 5 a.m. The thin one is just a covering because it is not yet that hot here. Next week, we would have to spread out the quilts on the roof to dry in sunshine and ready for storage. I love to walk walk around in this weather as it is not too hot here yet. It is comfortable both indoors and outdoors. Suddenly there would be a dense downpour of rain and everyone scatters for shelter.
I see quite a lot of waxberry at the supermarkets and fruit vendors. I have eaten them before but it is not particularly nice in taste. I didn't know it could be fermented into a wine like drink. I would try it and it should be nice drink for the coming hot weather. Every summer I make some ... what do you call it ... sour grapes? drink which is a popular Chinese drink in summer. There are quite a lot of goodies we can make at home.

- The weather of Beijing is changeable as well, within two days the tempreture is 10 degree different, so we have to pay attention on the forecast even it is always low accuracy.

- That is a good habit, I had made the berry wine last year but the taste is not so good.So i do not want to drink it.

- These days are quite good enough, not so hot, not so cold, thought it is summer now, I can just sense the cool air and enjoy the blue sky. One more months, it just comes the real hot summer when it becomes the hot stove here.

There are many things we can put them into wine. The berry now is already available to sell in the supermarket. But they are shipped to here from other provinces where are more warmer and hotter than what it is here now. Next month, the native berry would be mature, then I can have some.

- Right, the changeable weather makes us confused about when we should take a coat or when we should bring the umbrella. So we have to be cautious about the weather changing and also take care ourselves.

- You may add some sugar and some other ingredients so that it will taste better. Just try again, if you want to drink that in this summer.
