About six years ago, I got no social experience when I was leaving school. I met problems as same as most graduated students have. For example, I was not familiar with e-mails sending, replying and forwarding. And I also did not know etiquette in office. Though many of those things are not that hard to learn, students are just not systematically taught in schools. In part, this could be the failure of teaching. 

A student comes from an university more or less has the superior sense. He thinks he has already entered into an university that means he is already something which finally shows up in the wrong way. Since there is no severe competition in the campus, nothing but study and easy surroundings. While the study that most students accept are not qualified, meanwhile many do not know how to learn and dawdle away youth all day long in the college. 

I used to be one of them, later someday I found it was not that good to kill time by doing almost nothing. Though I studied hard to catch up what I lost before, I found it could have been better if I just did not miss the precious glorious time once I entered the school. Anyway, being involved in such a stiff and old school pattern, I still unavoidably dyed myself negative color as the one how knew almost nothing but textbooks. Apart from ignorance, I was nothing but a student who learned some basic knowledge from outdated textbooks. Now, I still miss the school days when I got up in the early morning and went back late from library everyday.

Six years is not a long time yet also not a short one. That is the time can totally change an inexperienced bird into a full winged falcon. When I am aware of weakness, I realize it is time to change and improve. If I do not move forward, I am so dead to stay in the stagnant pond where has no hope. Sometimes, reality is the best stove to refine one’s potential and extract his essence through forging. There is no warmth from parents and no sweet words from friends, only the cold and bitterness that I can swallow up. At first, I thought it was brutal, now I feel it is nothing. After years’ of mingling, I reckon the self esteem and independence are two elements built on constant  self-upgrading by means of pragmatic social training. Any bit of growth contains struggling and endeavoring. A real man then comes to the secular world who are not stoppable anymore. 

Now, I do not complain. Because it cannot change anything. Unless I can prove to solve it. I do not care what others say and judge. I am who I am. Since nobody else is going to let me down but myself. They do not pay me, the boss does. All I deserved is what I have done through my hard work. FACE problem is sometimes just an illusion can do no particular effect but varnish inner comfort. 

Once a manager told me that he first worked as the telephone operator meanwhile he had to introduce company business to investors. Every day in the early morning, he was busy calling and answering phones. We can imagine how annoying it is when we got calls from companies which introduce and try asking us to buy their products. At some time, it would be extremely furious by receiving phone calls like that when we are on the work or not so available to answer that. That manager succeeded doing that job as a broker and now has promoted to be the district manager in Beijing. He says it is not a big deal of the so called face problem because that is work. Indeed, money does not care if the trade really hurts your fragile heart and apologies you.

Today, I read an introduction of an author’s story about his struggling in work. I cite two of inspirational paragraphs. Translation as follows:

P 1. Never forget what kind of a person you are, because this world does not forget you. You should transfer resistance into impetus. Thus there is no weakness. You can have it equipped yourself then nobody else will hurt you.

P 2. The most mundane theory: Do not always thinking of escaping from reality. There are broaden mountains and vast waters awaiting for you to adventure after you become a beast. 

That is all my share above but does not mean I am a cold blood man. When it comes to work, we have to focus seriously on the job; have fun to the fullest when we are off work. Keep a positive attitude is not that easy, but we have to face it. Think about what on earth we can bring to people and what we can contribute to this society. Then our value realizes and rewards.
