Being a grownup he should be responsible for his deeds and words.
Being working for years, I learn to know the the importance of self-independence. It does not mean we merely live on our own, it also requires us to be thinking with cool mind, otherwise we are easily to be lost or set up by others.
At the same time, as a real man, he should be accountable. In all his zealousness, life is supposed to go smoothly even though sometimes there are uncertainties blocking ahead. Because of the belief of living better leads him to move forward.
As in the saying from Forrest Gump, life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are gonna get. He still choose to run for his life. He finally did it since his firm and simple belief of running, he got what he was deserved to have.
If you want to something, go for it.
