At any time almost everyone is using a phone to play music, send and check messages. It seems we can not live well without phones. Particularly when I am in the compartment of a subway, I see passengers are looking down at their phones. Even on the streets, some careless drivers are checking their messages and news while they are driving. Now and then I meet few ones who are carrying books to read on the subway. They perform calmly as if they were bothered nothing. This way is kind of efficient to read without distraction.
Another instance is from George R.R. Martin, author of the Game of Thrones, confessing that he writes books with a DOS word processor. In order not to be distracted, he chooses to this way to write so that he does not need to answer his phone, and check emails and messages from all kinds of social medias.
Sometimes simplicity is just that so natural we rarely notice its goodness. And once we get down to business we should be on the focus doing what we are supposed to do.
