Stay away from unreasonable guys
The best way to break the awkwardness is to confess and apologize. If the guy with his sincerity admits his faults or inappropriate behaviors which actually hurt his friends, whatever the results would be like, somehow it is needed to do so, at least he knows it is bad and tries to figure out if there were some ways to make up. Even if his friends do not accept the apology, at least he has done something yet to show his confession. Usually the worst thing is the guy has no intention to say sorry and just takes it as matter of course and never has the idea to introspect. Such kind of a guy can never be accepted to forgive. We should stay away from those guys who never have a sense of self-examination.
