Don Quixote imaged the windmill as a giant monster that he rid his skinny and old horse with a spear rushing to the huge and tall building without hesitation. Even though he was reminded by his servant Sancho that the so-called monster was a mistake, he still believed what he saw and thought, just murmured and shouted out, "In the name of knight, come on, I will fight for the people and eliminate you, detestable demon", and did it anyway. What an honorable and brave knight he was.
