Where it stands
Frantically running, yet never able to escape the haunting fear of pursuit. The endless hunt seemingly began without warning and continues unabated. When it will end remains unknown, at least not in the present. All around, there is neither sound nor color – a deafening silence wrapping up a realm filled with boundless space and time. Here, exhaustion is unknown, as an array of infinite loops play out tirelessly.
For now, struggling appears to be the best course of action, attempting to break free. Yet, no matter how many times it has been tried, each endeavor proves futile, leaving nothing but the disheartening reality of efforts. Desperation eludes precise definition, but profound helplessness and weariness prevail. Nowhere left to take refuge, for it exists only within the realms of consciousness, where no further hiding places are found. Facing the predicament becomes the sole recourse, even when no solutions are at hand. Nonetheless, within this ceaseless cycle, efforts are relentlessly expended in search of a breakthrough – however faint the glimmer of hope, it is still hope, a plea for redemption.
As dawn breaks with the symphony of birdsong and the fragrance of flowers, the realization dawns that preceding circumstances were nothing but a dream. Notwithstanding its illusionary nature, the dream felt achingly real. Indeed, it is that dream that reflects the true self, where life's trials begin upon the island of the soul.
In the midst of this surreal chase, awakening unveils the authentic self. Despite grappling with interminable adversity and strife, the only path lies in bravely confronting the island of the soul, seeking out breakthroughs and hope, and ultimately working towards genuine salvation.
