The Road Beyond Yesterday

In life's grand play, we meet and part,
Yet dwelling on regrets, we must depart.
For God's grand plan, it we must trust,
In the infinite of time, we're but dust.
Sometimes we find, in complaint we roam,
Draining mind and soul, we lose our home.
But in the present, let's make our stand,
Seize the future, the world in our hand.
History, a guide, from it, we've learned,
But in its grasp, we're too easily churned.
The past, a road, we can't retrace,
Our focus must be on the present's grace.
The future awaits, a canvas to paint,
In the now, let's be bold, let's be quaint.
For in holding this moment, our destiny's clear,
In the ownership of today, we have nothing to fear.
