I make acquaintance with Brook and David today through a classmate who's also a good friend.The two lovely Americans are now studying Chinese here and they're so friendly and easy-going which impresses me a lot.

    Brook,the tall shinny beautiful girl and David,the handsome well-shaped boy both give me an impression of good healthy bodyshape,which I presume because of their natural love for sports.They go through our whole talking so friendly and considerately,being pretty good at sustaining a buoyant atmosphere of talking.

    The main activity in our two fasinating hours is playing a "picking picture cards to answer questions" with cards Brook has brought.Lots of cards with different pictures or more precisely photos of real life scene ,from which we pick one or two to express ourselves on one question each turn.We play 3 questions in all,which consist of present situarion,future statements and differenties or changes through life.Brook concludes this gamething with the phrase that "a picture is worth a thousand words" which reflects that this is a terrific way for us to communicate and get better known with each other.

These two friends also impress me with some of their characteristics as follows:
1.Compliment
They compliment,praise,and encourage or recognise people quite lots.Saying "u r good. ur English is good.That's cool.u r considerate to do this or that",etc.
2.Metaphors & being concrete
They use metaphors often to express vividly,to be better understood.Also,they think and speak concretely and directly,conveying ideas clearly.
3.Deep beliefs in God
They mention God faithfully more than once or twice when sharing their own beliefs thoughts and experiences.They truthly believe they can overcome any difficulties in life with God's help.God does really live inside them.
4.Hugging warmly
They warmly hug us when saying goodbye.I love that two hugs very much,feeling warm,kind and close.We Chinese just don't do that much as Western culture does,which is definately a good tunnel to promote relationships especialy among families.
    Well,I learn lots today and I'm so excitedly happy to know these two friends.Friends!Yeah.I'm desperately looking forward to meeting with the new friends again.
