i love world music. 
By the definition of wiki, WORLD MUSIC is a general categorical term for global music, such as the traditional music or folk music of a culture that is created and played by indigenous musicians and is closely related to the music of the regions of their origin.
And thats why i love it. only the music comes from the daily life of human beings can express the true feelings of deep heart. and by 'human beings' i mean people who used to live in old ages and use music as a way of entertaining, recording histories and dailyl life. Pop music doesnt make sense to me
, cuz i cant believe people need so much songs to express their 'love'----the most frequently seen topic in pop music. Most people nowadays have excessive dating mates, potential partners, excessive 'love', excessive hormone, excessive time and money
but tiny little true feelings---it even doesnt need to be 'love'.
One of my friends thinks that it's crazy of me to love world music and she called me a 'fengzi' when i attached a link about a tuvan song to her facebook.
It's ok to be called 'fengzi', but it's still a little bit sad cuz she used to be a potential addictor of world music while now she's an art student and has already let those arty things cover her eyes---just as most of my friends who major in art/painting etc....
Other friends seems ok with my hobby unless i dont mess them up using links of world music.
and thanks Mimosa especially for her tolerance:) cuz i know if i dont want to be bothered by 'pop things' then i should also respect others' freedom and dont disturb them with my 'weird' things...
I've listened to 'playing for change' on youtube and i found their music touching too. the street musicians even easily made BONO dim and dull, and less talented, and...artificial, and weak. so you can see the power of music comes from deep hearts and true feelings.
i really love music of central and east asia, i.e. tuva, monglia, tibet, kazakh and uyghur etc. nomads. herders...i can smell the nature, soul and life in old days when im listening to the music......alash & hanggai are my favorite bands recently. strongly recommended.
