You Are Destined to be Alone, for You Are a Goshawk

I just finished watching the Animal World and overcame with emotion. Sometimes great people may also, like the goshawk in this story, suffer from loneliness. This paean is written for the goshawk, as well as great but lonely people.
You are “the god of the sky” with divine powers. I’m awed by you because of your sharp eyes, your athletic body and your fighting spirits.
That year, you had your own house and three cute babies. Your life had changed from then on. You worked harder, for your babies and your family.
Your babies, with white fur, were like chickens. But after all, they inherited bloodthirsty and ferocious characters from you. Due to hunger, your youngest child was eaten by his brothers. However, misfortunes never come singly. A fire prevented you from going home. And the fire provided a chance for the catamountains to attack your two babies.
I felt your grief when you found the corpses of your babies. There would be no babies for you to protect, no family for you to take care of. How poor were you!
But you chose to be silent, just hovering in the sky. At that moment, your sharp eyes became dim.
You are destined to symbolize divine powers; you are destined to fight with enemies and fate; you are destined to have no tears and sorrow, for you are a goshawk.
How would you lead your life then? You are destined to be alone, for you are a goshawk.

Maybe next year, she'll get enough food, but her experienYour emphasis on this cannibalistic behavior reminds me of similar behavior observed on some special kind of spider. But they are different. The former is forced and the latter is innate, genetically imprinted. I have to defend my position that this birdie was not doomed. The most probable reason for the absence of enough food, I believe, is the degradation of her territory and the subsequent diminish in the number of her regular preys, which should be properly viewed as a result of human activities rather than some predetermined curse. If some immediate and proper rescue plan is carried out, her life will improve.

- havent got a chance to watch it yet. but probably many great people are destined to be a loner.
First off, it's probably because their profound ideas and thoughts cannot be fully understood by common people. when they are not on the same or similar level, those great people would probably get bored surrounded by ones with simpler and emptier mind while inturn, the ordinary might take the great ones as cocky, introvert, or even jealous of them for being so great. therefore, some people mght deliberately isolate the great ones. it's like a group thing, then someone stands out too much, they might be mistreated.
Besides, they might need to be alone to have more time, personal space and concentration to accomplish their giant lifegoals instead of wallowing in those trivial matters in daily life as other people usually do, such as go shopping, chatting and socializing with relatives, friends or neighbours, busy managing the married life and taking care of kids, etc.
also, sometimes, those great people tend to act "crazier" from the perspective of normal people. it is still unknown whether talent and personality are connected in any way. but many geniuses do behave weirder than others. There's some truth in it but also a lot of wronged cases. the genuinely great mind would probably be seen as lunatics, which is an utter tragedy.
anyway, I think modernity also makes all sorts of people lonlier than before because we are too preoccupied with things at hand and move from one place to another very often, so it's harder to maintain a longlasting friendship or romantic relationships than before.

Yeah, human beings have had a nagative influence on nature. But I'm afraid the programme I watched has nothing to do with human beings. This happened in winter, so there was lack of food. And I wrote this article to express my pity, not to emphasize that the baby was doomed.
