Module 1 Writing Activity

In your writing journal, you will begin to practice building sentences with adjective and adverbial clauses. For this journal entry, discuss some of the advantages of the place where you live. Using the lists associated with each of these types of clauses, write at least three (3) sentences including adjective clauses and three (3) sentences including adverbial clauses. Underline the adjective and adverbial clauses. Consider their function in both as a modifier and an aspect of your writing style.

The city where I live is the capital of my country. Because the city is of crucial political importance, it gets great support from the government when developing economy; with highly developed economy, the citizens, who devote all their time into the city building, can now live more conveniently and securely. For example, the city, which is now having the country's best underground transportation network, offers you a better option going to the airport when you are pressed for time. Rather than wasting your time in the traffic jam, you are now allowed to take subway under a doubling speed.
