Patience is a virtue

One of my good friends phoned me
yesterday, she was most excited that she interviewed Tom Cruise for 45 minutes.
She works for a culture communication Inc. called shinework media in Beijing. Everyone might be
very envious of her work that provides many opportunities to travel around the
world and meet different kinds of people like international famous stars, which
is really a very very good way to widen horizon. She told me that many people
think Tom Cruise is a handsome guy and an attractive person. But she personally doesn’t consider him as a
handsome and talented artist, fortunately
he made himself a world class actor. Being nominated for Oscars for three times,
he never got the award. When she asked Tom to share his experience with Chinese
young generation, he said,
“Listen, and pay attention. Don’t pretend to know something that you don’t know. Be willing to learn and work hard. Also make sure that your heart is in the right place. If you really wanna do something, do it. Just don’t talk about it, do it. And be respectful to it. You know, I show up early, I’m there before the crew would be there and I’m the last one to leave. I take great pleasure in working hard. I think that is the only way you can create your own luck. ”
These words enlighten me and gave me inspirations. His experience is extremely powerful and can often be kind of revelatory about our inward. I just want to share his words with all my friends who are working towards their goals.
Patience is a virtue.
