What a embarrassed situation!
Today, I went to a pulled noodless restaurant for lunch. I ordered a big bowl of pulled noodless and a share of beef. After I had finished it, I went to check out. This meal is 12 RMB in total. There is only 105 YUAN in my wallet. So, I have to pull out the one hundred bill and hand it over to the restaurant owner. However, while I was waitting for the change the owner have to give to me, to my astonishment, the restaurant owner should say the one hundred bill is a counterfeit money."oh, my god, how could it be", I thought, because I just drew the money from the bank yesterday and I have never thought the money drew from the bank would be the counterfeit money.What's worse, the restaurant owner seemed don't believe me no matter what did I say.She thought that I did cheat her on purpose.I had no choice but to pull my ID card out to her as a guaranty and told her I would come back to give her the money soon. The owner agree with me with a bad grace.
When I drew the money from the bank and on my way to the restaurant.It's not my fault at all because I knew nothing before this thing happend .So, there is no need for me to be worrying.

- I think it's the faults of the restaurant owners',how can they do in this way to cheat the customers,and also it tell us we should careful when ever in the outside.

- How do you know they did not cheat you? Some of the shopkeepers switch the real money to fake money in a very fast way. Hope they did not do that to you.
Fake renminbi also affected me once. I bought something from an electrical shop and gave them Rmb20. They accepted it and I went away with my goods. Later the owner ran over all the town to find me and when he found me near the bus terminus, he angrily said I gave him the fake Rmb 20. I told him I got it from the railway ticket station and don't know it was fake. Anyway, 20 rmb is nothing and I would be happy to keep the fake money as souvenir. I gave him a new 20 Rmb, he was quite upset about it but seems he knew I am not a cheater because the next time I went to his shop he was nice, but still checked my money with a smile haha. It is troublesome having to hold up the money on light to check for image and the silver line. Nothing is safe these days.

- i agree with sunny that nothing is safe nowadays. it's troublesome for one to check each time you get the paper money to make sure that the money is a real one, not a fake one. when giving money to others, i usually remind him/her to check also just to avoid any possible trouble.
