Chinese small iris
At the edges of the fields and on the paths within are flourishing clusters of iris. Now they are in full bloom and very attractive. Their leaves and flowers brighten up after the rain yesterday. One glimpse at the light blue flowers can calm us down quickly. They grow so well without any care from anybody. Moreover, their strong vitality is unmatched if compared with planted flowers indoors. They represent all the great works of nature. In the meantime it proves that the natural world could have been beautiful without man's intervention. Undoubtedly, man looks like a clown on the earth.

- Whenever I see the beautiful flowers growing wild on the road sides, I am reminded that people are also just like the wild flowers. There are so many people in this world without the care and love from others.
One day, I walked by the orphanage and stopped to watch the lovely children play happily. A lonely boy was standing and when I asked him why he is not playing? He turned to me with eyes that could not see and he began to cry... He said to me... I am nobody's child, nobody wants me because I am blind. Just like a flower I am growing wild. No mommy's kisses and no father's smile. Tears flowing down his eyes he said, many people come to take children to bring home but they all seem to reject me and I am left here all alone. I tried to explain to him that eventually, somebody would take him. He seemed unable to accept my consolation and ran away to a corner and sat there to cry heavily.
I began to blame myself. Why did I have to ask him the question which reminded him of his suffering? There is nothing much I could do to help him. I could only wish somebody really take him home. I placed his story on the internet and hope somebody would consider him.
That is why we all should be grateful and content with what we have now. Things could have been much worse than it is now.
