In the middle of this afternoon we saw the southeastern sky darkened just over our town. Soon the darkness spread to our school. Then for a few minutes the classroom got too dim for the pupils to write. Some of them left their desks for the windowsills continuing their writing. I turned on the lights when raindrops came down outside. But after a while the rain stopped and the light became bright. And the clouds were further darkening and thickening above the town in the distance. As I approached home after work I found a rainstorm had hit there leaving puddles and fallen twigs on the road.
