The torrential rain this morning delayed my starting off for work. I saw it raging outside without knowing if I could go, how and when to go. I wouldn't brave the rain anyway. I hate failing to report for duty on account of bad weather. I might wait until the rain subsided or completely stopped. But my lingering mustn't surpass the 9：00 o'clock am deadline. If the rain continued then, I intended to take the bus heading there at 9：30. If the weather permitted, I could ride my bike as usual. Either  way would ensure me arriving at school by 10：00 when I had to conduct my first class today.
