It's good time to hunt fungi after several days of rainy weather. I had never been inclined to do that except today quite by accident. On my way home when I got down from my bike near the Pei Village to cover the section of the rugged road on foot as before, a truck caught up with me and I had to stop at the roadside for a moment. A few freshly sprouted mushrooms came into my view beyond my expectation. They were just among the dead grasses at the foot of one of the young poplar trees nearby. That their white merged into the background made them successfully escape passers-by's notice.
