Our summer vacation began yesterday. Son has gone to school for a month since his departure last time. The day before I made him a call expressing my intention to see him. Without meeting objections, I headed for his school yesterday with peaches and dumplings he wanted. After two hours' bus ride, I got there at lunch time and the dumplings were still warm in the heat-retaining meal-box. I watched at his dormitory as he ate alone with satisfaction until he was full leaving only a few which I took immediately. Knowing that he and his two roommates slept on the upper decks of their bunk beds, with their mosquito nets loosely hung on the ceiling and the window and the door left open at night in their sleep, I advised him to settle on the lower deck as before for safety. In this way, his net could be hung steadily giving more room for his tossing within. Moreover, I told him to shut the window when sleeping lest he should catch cold. To the first suggestion, he turned down. To the second, he accepted.
