I had a bad sleep last night because of fatigue and a late and heavy supper. I lay awake far into the night. Now I sat up in bed; now I drank some water; now I opened the bedroom window and drew the curtain on the opening. At dawn I heard some old ladies come to the playground just below my opened window. The quiet of the morning was gone as one of them began talking loudly and clearly. She seemed to have had a good night's sleep for the more she talked, the more energetic she became. Soon they were joined by a few newcomers. But the fluent lady still dominated the chatting group. She talked on and on without end getting on my nerves. It was improbable for me to get to sleep any more.
