Yesterday around 5 o'clock pm a lorry heavily laden with a cargo of sacrificial paper drew up to the gate of elder brother's. The lorry loaded the cargo of ten tons in Gongzhuling which claimed an expenditure of ￥1,000 on transportation. As it began drizzling, brother objected to unloading the cargo. But rain came down harder and harder. Seeing the cargo not covered well, I braved the rain helping brother attached waterproof materials to some places where leaking might occur. I waited anxiously in the front porch with my shirt soaked through by the rain. After a period of darkness and a downpour, the sky brightened up and the rain subsided to a fine one. We began to unload the paper without removing the cover. Soon the rain left off at last. The work finished at 9 o'clock with the help of several hands summoned. We were all exhausted, hungry and dirty. It is at the expense of blood and sweat that brother earns a little honest money.
