Tomorrow is Saturday but it isn't a holiday for me. I've been assigned to keep watch over our school. We teachers take turns at being on duty at weekends or on special festivals during the semesters. Otherwise we are charged ￥30 a day for each person. This is the second time I've been on duty at this school. Mr. Niu, the vice-headmaster made me fulfill a task tomorrow, to wit, removing the potato stalks in the plot which has not been harvested with weeds and unwanted young trees getting ready for the harvest next week. Our headmaster stated that some of the harvest will be distributed among the staff.
